AN EXPERT car cleaner says he makes more than £400 a day polishing up cars for a living.

The man took to social media to show users how his detailing business has helped him earn a very tidy amount every month.

TikTok user @autocleandetailing revealed that he wakes up every morning at 8:30 - and starts his first job at 9am.

The car cleaning expert says: "So today the first car on the list was a Subaru Outback, and this was an ultimate detail which includes a wash, a seal and a complete interior detail.

"I charged them £206, which took me about four hours. After I finished, I packed up and headed to the next job, which was about ten minutes away.

"I ate some lunch on the way and got to the second one at about 1:30pm. This was also an ultimate detail on a Mercedes Benz.

"I noticed tar on the paintwork, so I upsold the client to a paint decontamination for an extra £48.

"I charged them £184 plus the £48 for a paint decontamination, so the clients ended up paying £232.

"This car took about three and a half hours to complete - the client was extremely happy.

The day he filmed the video, he finished work at 5:30 pm - and earned a whopping £438.

The video has gone viral on social media with more than 829,900 views - but viewers are not too convinced.

One said: "Unfortunately, every day is not like this, and you didn't account for your materials."

The poster answered: "Especially when it rains and I have to reschedule, haha."

A second commented: "Not worth the effort."

A third pointed out: "Is it only me who wouldn't pay even £26 for a clean."

This comes after a motoring expert claimed drivers are cleaning their car windows all wrong.
